Yep my new LT has arrived today (thanks Kev) as well as 2 puff daddy tanks which have pre-punched 1.5ohm DC cartomisers in(thanks ECigWizard). Soooooo here come the inevitable first questions 1. What is the best way to fill the tanks? 2. Are there any liquids I should avoid to protect tanks? 3. What is the best setting to begin with as regards voltage? I am really pleased with the set up I have received, I am sure I will be bugging asking loads more questions until I am used to it so sos in advance (I am also eager to try out the cherry brandy flavour that came with it ).

Can't answer and 2 and 3 but for number 1 - using a bottle needle tip or spikey thing or syringe and needle, firstly add juice to the white filling inside the cartomiser (nice and slow, letting it soak in and don't pour it down the hole in the middle - if you do it will just pour out of the bottom) then when that is good and soaked, pull the tank bit up the cartomiser so that the open endo f the cartomiser is inside the tank and then add juice directly into the space between tank and cartomiser using your needle tip/spikey thing. Then when you have added as much as you can, push the carto back through the top of the tank and fit the drip tip.

More good news Tinker! I'd go for around 4.2volts to start with on your DCC 1.5ohms, the LT along with the Provari, has a limiter for want of a better word that will prevent it from going over that voltage on a DCC. There's a list somewhere of flavours to avoid in Tanks, as some can cause the 'perspex' material to crack . . . Cinnamon is one I think. I've just popped the top off of my Puff Daddy Tank and refilled that way.

Thanks for the advice Perpy, much appreciated I won't have a problem avoiding cinnamon as it is one flavour I am not keen on. Will toddle off and have a lookey at the list

Cinnamon is a bit hetic on it's own, but in a Cinnamon Danish/Roll juice it's rather lubberly Tinker. I'm racking my brain, to try and remember where I've seen that list. ???

It's a Lavatube Honkey, a most excellent reasonably priced Variable Voltage device. www.freedomvape.co.uk/shop/article_11/VV-Lava-tube-Premium-Kit.html?shop_param=cid%3D2%26aid%3D11%26Here's a list of flavours to avoid Tinker . . . I should stress that none of these flavours are 'bad' in anyway, it's just that they have been known to cause cracking in some Tanks, but not all. Sour flavors Malic acid Citrus acid Cinnamon like "atomic cinnamon" types, not warm cinnamon like cinnamon coffe cake, this is okay Wintergreen juice or flavoring TPA ripe banana flavoring TPA honeysuckle flavoring TPA maraschino cherry flavoring TPA cherry blossom flavoring TPA root beer flavoring Mrs. T's strawberry shortcake, snickerdoodle KBV Hummingbird nectar mimosa(because of the orange) cola(because of cinnamon)? Vapor Renu Teaberry, cherry vanilla (possibly most of their flavors) Vapor Renu Mt. Dew baha blast and Strawberry limeade Oil based/e liquid that conains essential oils, when mixed with pg/vg, creates esters which will crack plastics E liquids that contain triacetin, used in vg liquids to carry flavor more effectively Vapalicious Gooey Butter Cake Nutmeg Clove oil Mt. Dew flavoring TPA Cinnamon Danish flavoring Sassafras Rawrvapor Hawaii Sunrise TPA Vanilla Custard flavoring Tasty Vapor Cherry Cola Vixen Vapor Rootbeer TPA Pineapple flavoring TPA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream flavoring Vaporgod Licorice VAL Goddess VermillionRiver e juice

Fanks Tinker. :-[ But I cribbed it off of ECF, so can't pretend it's all my own work. Tbh, I wouldn't angst too much over the list, just keep in mind the sorts of flavours that can maybe cause cracks.

1. What is the best way to fill the tanks?on first fill: fill the carto first then pop it through the bottom cap, fill the tank and then slowly push the top cap on. you can place the top cap in place then turn the whole tank upside down and align the air bubble with the carto hole and push the top cap all the way in... this way will avoid any just being forced out the battery connector refilling: pop the drip tip off and then holding the bottom of the tank and gently pull the tank up the carto until the top of the carto is inside the tank and slightly below the tank cap. tilt the tank at a slight andle and slowly fill through the top so that the juice runs down the gap between the cap and the carto (try to avoid the carto) when filled push the tank back down the carto holding both top and bottom caps and your done 2. Are there any liquids I should avoid to protect tanks?Perpy's list is comprised of USA juices but if you remember not to use cinnamon, citrus and similar type juices you should be safe... i think i will start a thread to list juices that are known to be fine to use if in doubt just ask here first 3. What is the best setting to begin with as regards voltage?start low take a toot then increase and take another toot until you find a voltage you prefer... its all personal preference... i do like around 4.2v but some like the throat hit they get at higher voltage

oh mini tip: with the pre holed cartos they prefer thinner juices and may need an extra hole if you want to use VG juices
