It just so happens I have a nautilus arriving this week. So that's that sorted. The only thing that's thrown me now is I've just seen that there's a v7 that goes up to 30 watts! oh god just when I thought we had spent your money............... thing is, even if he does go for a 20 or 30 watt model, the batteries and charger I linked to would still apply (I use them in a hana 30W dna box), and the 20 & 30 watt models are only a couple of quid more than the standard v5, so full package still under £40

If you are tempted make sure you read several reviews and make an informed choice. I loves my vamos, but can't advise on the higher-powered ones not having had one, sorry. Hopefully paulymb will see the tag and may be able to help further on the high-power versions....

Just read that the v7 will fire down to 0.8 ohm coils. Might be worth buying it for that reason. Just in case I decide to try sub ohm ( which I think is only a matter of time)

I saw a v10 on FastTech, what does that do? Switch the TV on !?! I prefer the V2 over all of them, somehow more solid.
Do NOT skimp on a good charger! Nitecore D2 or 4 from a reliable vendor!

I've got one, and still a couple of quid cheaper than the d-variant if the aim is to keep within a budget

I cannot see original kit, but plus one on what @spikey_fridge and GunJack said. The chargers that come with kits are usually just good enough for the electric recycle bin, I've got an I4 and 2 years down line it's still working perfect, cheap investment at £16 and my house not burned down yet. In the days before good chargers I had a trustfire, they were about all available then, when it arrived had europe plug on it which I cut off to fit uk plug, was shocked, the wires were about as thick as a human hair, straight in bin and new lead bought. Do not skimp on chargers unless you want to get to know local fire brigade. Cannot comment much on Vamos apart from my V2 going strong after few years, and my shiney V5 still in box it arrived in (buggers on here pointing out cheap deals you dont need lol). MP
