The beauty ring screws onto the ego adaptor - so the isticks 510 thread is still protected but the sight does not quite so offend the eyes.

Do it - really, do it, apart from looking approximately 1000% better it will help prevent awkward snappage occurring as and when the device inevitably gets dropped.

ah! I had to google a picture of the Eleaf to see what you mean. The adaptor in the eleaf, must of came with it, its like Thatcher though - not for turning

I cant remember putting the adaptor in, when I got it.
Its so solid, I had thought it was part of the unit lol.

I will wait for my Aspire Nautilus to jam up and on next trip to garden shed, take the ELeaf with me, for an introduction to the Vice

You don't need to take the adapter off happyloman, you should be able to take the tank off and attach the beauty ring to the ego threads on the adapter and then pop the tank back on

OK, after a bit more research online, I've abandoned the subtank idea for now
as they seem better suited to lung inhale? The big Atlantis just seems too
bulky to carry around all day. So, guess what? I've bought a protank 2!
I will see how I get on with it and all being well, buy a couple more. Fill them 
up in the morning and just swap the tanks over during the day. Is this how 
shinitis starts?  Funny where you end up init?

Hi becks remember if you find you want the pro tank with air flow like the Nautilus you can buy the little attachment that will turn it into an aetotank as well there about £3 great little things as you can upgrade the tank if you feel like it

I have Protank 2s. They look the business on the iStick. The tank (well, my tank with AFC) isn't ideal for the threads and 510 connection, so keep your eye on how far you are tightening.

What are you going to do for coils? The factory ones were always such a let down on the PT2.

Thanks for that, I didn't know there were issues with the coils. Can you suggest where to get some decent one's from? I will have a go at Diy soon I hope.

Hi yes the mini tank will be fine on the 650 math battery , I take it you mean the nautilus mini ?? It comes with a ego skirt in the box a little round thing that you can attach to make it look better, it will fit without the skirt but will look a lot better with it on , just screw it on then put the tank on, you could always get your self a little istick 20 watt in time that will last a lot longer as the battery is bigger so you don't have to charge as often, have a look on fastech or evkoo or aliexspress there only around £13
