I'm a Floyd fan alright, the very first album I bought was DSOTM (let down by the fact that I bought Carpenters - the singles on the same shopping trip), I looked at getting tickets for the Australian Pink Floyd when they're local to me but they only had restricted view or stupid price tickets left.

Dark Side are doing a few gigs close to me, I cant decide to do the Carnglaze Caverns one or the charity double header with the Fleetwood Mac tribute band

Karen Carpenter had an angelic voice though didn't she? What a shame they didn't know how to deal with anorexia in those days. I just looked her history up on wiki, and she was a drummer as well as a singer! Talent oozing out of her pores.

I remember buying it when it came out too. My best mate and I would always share our music so I took it to his house for it's first play. We sat in silence and listened to it all the way through. When it finished I said "How do you follow that?" Without a word, he stood up and walked to the record player, turned it over to side one and dropped the needle on it again.
