Hi All, I've been browsing this forum for a while after finding out about it on MSE and finally decided to join! I've been considering investing in an e-cigarette for some time and thought I'd come and ask for some advice. I'm not an overly heavy smoker (some days I smoke one or none, others up to about 12 lights) but I'm concerned about the health issues and my partner seriously hates it. I do enjoy smoking though, so the e-cigarette seems like a good compromise All the enjoyment with none of the detrimental effects? I don't know why I haven't tried it sooner! Can someone please recommend a decent starter e-cig? I like the idea of a mini, not overly bothered about it looking like an actual cigarette though - just something relatively small and unobtrusive (I have seriously small hands). Length of charge isn't too important to me either as I can only smoke intermittently at work anyway. The 510 mini starter kit on FreedomVape looks good, has anyone had any experience with this? Thanks in advance for any help!

Hello & welcome Peachy The 510 mini is a good kit for a light smoker like yourself & if you order it from Freedomvape before the end of the month, you can use the discount code JAN15 for 15% off. An alternative for you to look at would be The SD Key ring from vape Escape (it does only come with one battery though) use discount code allabout for 10% off - www.vapeescape.co.uk/the-sd-keyring-ecig~266Lol was also going to suggest safercig Intro kit, but Daz isn't listing them at the moment so i'm guessing they are out of stock.

Hi Peachy wishing you a warm welcome to the forum the 510 mini from freedom vape isnt a bad lil e-cig but if you're not worried about it looking like a ciggy then may i suggest the SD keyring it has nearly twice the battery power (4 hours) of the usual ciggy style e-cigs but is very tiny and cute it uses cartomisers which are nice and easy to use. you could even fill up a few with different flavour e-liquid and swap them when you feel like it.... keep asking the questions

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I was also looking at the SD keyring so will check out some more reviews before I make my decision. The discount codes are very helpful too river - A friend of mine calls me Peach, and I love peach-flavoured things haha - I wonder if I can find a peach flavour e-liquid?

wonder if I can find a peach flavour e-liquid? Indeed there is, there is an eliquid flavour for every occasion do you fancy mince pie? or roast chicken? maybe some crab juice? (I am not joking BTW ) If you enjoy smoking though you might have a bit of a problem if you are expecting a cigarette taste... most eliquid (except crab ) in my opinion is much nicer than burned tobacco but it is widely accepted that no eliquid will truly replicate burning tobacco (it is almost, if not, impossible to simulate it 100%)

Crab juice sounds very strange, I think I'll pass on that one haha! I have tried flavoured cigarettes before and really enjoyed them (vanilla and chocolate), so fingers crossed it won't be a problem. Possibly a stupid question but is flavoured e-liquid just the flavour itself? As opposed to tobacco flavoured with something else I mean.

Welcome from me too peachy - I'd also say the SDK would be good for you. If you like it you can always get another (maybe longer lasting) battery that has the same 510 connection and some unfilled standard cartomisers to put whatever juice you fancy in.

Peachy, re you asking "is flavoured e-liquid just the flavour itself? As opposed to tobacco flavoured with something else I mean." Just wondering if you meant do the non tobacco flavours also contain nicotine? If so, then yes they do
