it's a fab hostel with vapers emporium (I think) about 1 mile or so down leith walk as you turn left out of the hostel and not too rowdy...nice rooms though no vaping inside but almost like a hotel and you can self cater or not as you prefer. Rocket fuel (percol) coffee can be obtained from Tesco 5 minutes walk away

I travel on the east coast line once or twice a year and I go further than N.Lincs to Edinbubble LOL

@johanino most kind of you to post these links, but i drive every where, and linked hostel don't do dogs, if there is a hotel/B&B that take dogs close by i am daft enough to do the marathon trip to haggis land 
The nearest i have been so far is Berwick, so i would be a Scotland virgin

Do you mind what you folk get? I have two recipes in mind. Both are very good But I can't decide between the two. Both are quite sweet . Whichever one you don't get this time you'll get next (please note probably won't be at April meet)

@johanino, Not looking good for me being able to make it I am afraid. Doing my best to get out of commitments this weekend but just been landed with another job to do which I can't get out of... well I can, but risk losing future work from them if I say no.
