Have to agree with everything you have said there. Seems to be the mod i pick up now when i get home.

i seem to be using this as much as my beloved gizmo
the size and weight is spot on
doddle to use
and you can polish it up no end


ok the cons
the 510 is well erm shyt sorry no other way to put it,they just havent bolted the ruddy thing in right
no matter how long you have one you will never know if its safe with a batt in which im sorry is unacceptable
if i buy more it will be to mod ie new board and fat daddy 510
im waiting for a clone board and 510 to come then im going to try and see what happens

What did you use to polish it? looks nice. With reference 510 connector I have a customer who says his has completely come out of the box when he undone the atomiser which tbh seems a little unlikely when I took the plastic cover off of mine to look at the board, on mine at least I can wobble the atomiser twist it whatever it does not move. short of being sat on etc I cannot see this happening, any ideas

That looks like a home made mod by some rip off modder I got 3 years ago - it was my first VV mod. he fixed it. I sold it

Mine is in there solid like that, but maybe some of the drill holes are on the larger end of the tolerance so come loose more easily.

Have I ordered a silver one ... nope, clouper's response as not been good enough for me to give them any more of my money on this device.

I've had mine since the 7th of January, and it's been my daily driver, vaping at least 10ml a day, mostly with Atlantis on top, occasionally a Subtank 25mm, and a couple of RDAs built to 0.5ish just to see how it would do. Quite pleased with it still, other than the 510 being a bother with some attys and the battery door rattle (which I fixed with some tape).

Silver unit, finish is just now starting to show some wear on the edges. 510 connector is holding up so far, and I've got a 14mm Varitube low profile floating 510 sitting here if the need arises. USB charged it once, just to see how long it took (forever).

Expect Cloupor will have a DNA40 clone board version of this not long after CNY.

if the 510 is situated in the position as shown in pic it will not fire but if I twist 510 round so solder pad is at back it will work. Just need to keep it there

It's up to you, but I wouldn't use it like that, it will be a poor contact and there is a chance of it touching a bit of the board that is positive.
