6 mths already, where does the time go.

Well folks that's 6 mths since we gave up the fags and started Vaping, not as long as a lot of peep's here, but a miracle for my wife and I.

We had never managed to stop smoking despite numerous attempts over the years, we tried all the NRT crap, even joined a support group at our local chemists who provided patches free whilst monitoring your progress. Again it failed .
Going from 35 fags a day 6 mth ago, to my usual diy mix of 6 mg Nic is nothing short of amasing. 



So a big thanks to all the folk that have shared their technical experience to the benefit of everyone, and our resident bargain hunters that have saved us a few bob along the way, oh and not forgetting all the mods who give their time to make this forum as good as it is. 

Roll on the next 6 mths to the first anniversary.

It is amazing isn't it, I am a month ahead of you and it has flown by (I think that is an age thing though ) long may it continue but I must say I have only thought of stinkies a couple of times and that is only when I get a waft when out and about, sometimes get a small craving but mostly at the smell.

Here's to the next 6 months and getting the first year under our belts

Congrats car147 and too your wife too, my wife and I gave up a year gone November and went from 25 a day each to zero and lots of great help and advice here when I first started

Cheers all, we seem to have been lucky or maybe it was the way i reduced our nic intake at first where we started at 18mg,( neither of us had cravings) slowly reducing to 10 a month or so ago, but that for me has been thrown off course by finding lung hits and needing to reduce down to 6mg with drippers and sub ohming.

On wards and upwards as they say.

Was watching 'The Hotel' on telly an hour or so ago, and a guest there was happily vaping away... it will be the norm soon.

Im just over 8 1/2 months stinky free amazed like many others how easy it was.
Started on 18mg now I mix at 8 mg and just useing the last of the 12mg juice.

Thanks all, the real game changer is we never have any craving's for tobacco,( the first day was strange switching over, but other than that all good) this was never the case with NRT Where we were always just kidding ourselves, and any crisis or excuse and we were back on the stinkies.

And as a bonus, now being down to 6mg the Nic base goes a lot further as well. Win.win on the diy mixing!
