Hi Womble, Essentially it's attempting to stop legislation that would enable a select group of rich corporations and governments to in effect 'censor' the internet. Supposedly to counter piracy and fraud, but casting such a wide net that it will inevitably impact free speech and democratic freedoms imo. There's a huge stink about it, and rightly so imo. Cheers, John I see the piracy and fraud in the legislation, but tbh, I don't see the rest. Show me the bit that will impact free speech and democratic freedoms and I will sign in a heartbeat. Hi Womble, For a couple of examples follow the 3rd link that I provided above (What's Wrong With ACTA), and then on tha page that you're taken to try the 1st & 2nd links (titled 'ACTA and its Impact on Fundamental Rights' and 'ACTA - Criminal Sanctions'). They're pretty explicit re the probs with this. Hope that helps, John
