The iStick 30W has made quite a few improvements the important ones being the vastly better 510 with sprung centre post. The other being they changes the software so the chips now run RMS mode which means more accurate wattage calculation in the device. As has been said the 50W is only slightly bigger but has twice the battery life (using two 18650's inside instead of one). For size difference to the 50W the photo below has the 50W on the left and the original iStick on the right.  |
