How long does a coil wire last?

Coils last weeks with thin wire, indefinitely with thicker wire. Wicks: cotton & rayon 4 ml of liquid for me, stainless steel on gennies indefinitely.

They do gunk, less so with temp limiting on the DNA40 @ 400-410 F, but I clean them probably twice a week (vape about 9 ml a day on the one dual 3 mm ss rope wick build, current rope and mesh about 2 months use, but did re-torch them a week ago when recoiling).  What does your liquid do to cotton, mine won't last over 4 ml without getting too gunked?

Currently On 2x FT Mini-Gennies ('bout 2ml) as Easy Wiv Ribbon/Mesh to Whip Out the Wick & Dry-Burn.
Like the Vape From the Kraken, Wiv Rope But the Mesh Topper, & the Rope Underneath, are Just Getting Coated Wiv a Rust-Like 'Stuff' From My Baccy That Won't Remove....
