Is 99.9% ok to clean mods and contacts or do I need to dilute it?
Also any guides/advice on using isopropyl alcohol when cleaning mods and contacts?

I use it neat for contacts, the benefit is it flashes off so no need to dry those hard to reach places. It will dry your hands out though and stinks to high heaven so best to wear gloves if your cleaning tubes etc.

Gonna use it to try and clean some tiny dark spots that have appeared on my Gizmo. It won't affect the annodising will it?
What's the best way to apply?
Pour some into a shot glass and dip cotton buds? Kitchen roll for the gizmo?
Cheers Greg!

I'd be surprised if it affected the anodising, I used to use it on car paintwork to remove polish. Yes use a cotton bud of a cloth, either is fine. Just bin it after use.

iso is one of the safest solvents to use like that, used to use it for cleaning plastics and screens etc on photocopiers for many years jackcustard, test in an inconspicuous area first ALWAYS with a solvent. I never diluted it (cause I liked the smell)

It's shinier but not removed the dark spots...
I must have nuclear sweat. Had this problem with a white gold ring a few years ago...

I use Isopropyl all the time for cleaning batteries. If you can get a spray bottle, you can literally just spray a small amount on to the contact then let it attack any grime built up there, before cleaning it off with a cotton bud. As it doesn't leave a residue when it evaporates, it's ideal for our use.
