Hi I bought a pro tank 3 of somebody and it doesn't work on anything I tried it with the base of my neighbours tank and it works fine , so I was wondering if anybody had a base knocking around of a broken tank or something they no longer need please, I thought it was worth a try thanks

Sounds like a clone @yavape. I got one with my vamo and the pin of the coil doesn't sit quite far enough down in the 510 so it doesn't make a connection. It won't connect on my mvp or ego with the plinth as I can't wind it right down. The only thing that will fire it is my vamo

Yes for some reason my vamo can't even read it and on the ivp and cf mod it fires really really weak , its just a pain because by the time I've paid to fix it with delivery I could of got one a whole lot cheaper from myepack and of had a working coil lol but you live and learn and these sir flow ones look great thanks

Mine looked genuine @yavape (box etc) but it blatently isn't. I put it side by side with my genuine one and there is obvious differences. I might order one of those afc's for mine

That is a right pain, @yavape not sure if it could be a pin issue. Actually, have a check on the PT base, mine have been shy of level & not fired, just need a wee turn to get it sorted.

You could have bought another, but the airflow is a good thing to have & there might be other bits you need. Plus there's dissy code 'allabout' for 10% off.

Try pulling the pin that's in the bottom of the coil head out by a mm or so. Sometimes they get pushed in a bit and compress the gromet. You can pull them out quite a bit and still get a connection no problem. Hope that helps

No it wont work still ???? iv just been on fastech and they sell the base for under a pound but maybe it would be the same ,iv just realised I have the smoktech smok air flow valve thing for my vamo so I don't really need the air flow base ,I may as well pick one up from fastech worth a try I suppose ????

maybe a combination of the pin on the coil head and the 510 pin on your mod being out of place slightly? Are you sure the coil head you are using works?

When you create a pm don't use the @ sign before the name
