Hope ya tootsie gets better soon hun. Keep a bloody close eye on it for any signs of infection. Not sure what your daughter used on it. But I'd reccomend getting some jellonet wound dressings. Put that directly on wound then bandage, it promotes healing and will also stop dressing sticking.

Big hug for you (((((( Phoenix . ))))) I once dropped (part of) a brick wall on the top of my foot - boy did it hurt I did get it checked out & there were no bones broken but some ligament damage. To help me get around, while it healed, I put a firm piece of sponge underneath my foot & attached it with crepe bandaged to form a cushion to walk on My Daughter suffered from pain on the insole of her foot and used a splint, she has brought that down for me but it is awkward to walk around and you cannot use it outside. I have cut the toe out of my old slipper so my foot just slides in, much more comfortable, but can't go out wearing it.

Used Mepore non adhesive dressing after cleansing with Surgical wipes Bandage held in place with Microporous tape followed by a thick bedsock, very comfortable I have no pain now. Thanks for your concern igual.

Sorted I have not got anything in my wardrobe to go with a plastic bag.

Hope it isn't infected and the Dr can sort you out.
