Ant. Nemesis Purchase

I am considering the purchase of a genuine Nemesis vw from I fancy one.com

Any advice re mod or vendor?

I though a nemesis was a mech mod not a vw? And that site looks a bit expensive to me.

Maybe see if myepack have anything you fancy.

It is a mech. I totally agree with jmw2309, everything is grossly overpriced.

get one the nemesis is s classic mech mod, but get on the sales section have seen them go on the cheap 50 to 70

It is a mech??? perhaps the most famous one! VW refers to the edition, not description. Prices comparable to Antomixani direct, if not cheaper as it incudes special delivery.

Also they are, to the best of my knowledge the only UK accredited Antomixani dealer. Myepack only seem to have clones, the whole point was to get a genuine mod.

The prices on ifancyone site reflect the quality of the high end products and I've found them comparable when other dealers offer the same item. Of course if you compare a genuine item against a clone there will be a gross disparity of pricing, and in my experience, quality.

there are better mech mods out then the nemesis but if you want one go for it, you wont be dissapointed also ifancyone seem to be great vendors so cant see you having any issues.

I have used the vendor before and found the service very good. I agree there are probably better mechs out there, in terms of "hit" anyway, but I wanted a classic, with a solid reputation for quality. I just appreciate good engineering whether it's a steam engine, a mod or a nut and bolt. I think all the best kit should give you a visual and tactile hit long before a throat hit!

I've had a quick look at kit other than that which I would buy and I can't seem to find anything "grossly overpriced", they seem pretty run of the mill.On the more specialised kit it seems the same story, in fact the seem cheapest for Atmizoo....

I got a couple of the VW edition nemesis mods direct from Atmomixani when they first released them, if I was to take a polishing cloth to them now then they would look brand new.
It it a very very good mod that takes most battery sizes + a kick if you want, it's sturdy and gives a good electrical conductivity through its contacts.
The only thing I would really suggest is a magnet upgrade for the switch

I agree with the magnet upgrade - improves it massively.

I have one original and 2 clones.

I have upgraded the contacts in the clones (fatdaddy kit) and upgraded to magnets in all of them.

Is the genuine better? Yes.

By much? No.

With the contacts upgrade, they perform the same.

If you're after something just to have something nice then go for it - it's great, even better with the magnet upgrade.

If you want the genuine because it will be better than the clone, don't get it.

If I were to mark mine out of 100, the genuine gets 95 and the clone gets 90.

I love my nemesis, all 3 of them

I have the mixed Greek version and love it. Yes they are expensive but the build quality is superb, and the finish second to none. If you can afford it I would definitely recommend getting a genuine one rather than a clone. It probably won't perform any better than a cheap one but it will feel better in your hand.
Go for it I say, you won't regret it
