Good job ! Now you only have to use blowtorch (not sure about this word) to tighten it and it will be perfect ! Nah, she'll tighten it after a dry burn once installed in a plume veil. She's gonna wait for me to be there to use it since it's 0.6 ohm (0.3 when dual coiled) just to be safe.

predalphaWhy does a coil have to be close wound? Jim I think its better to avoid heating points. It will improve the heat distribution. I always do that but i can be wrong.

www.amazon.co.uk/Plume-Veil-RDA-Rebuildable-Stainless/dp/B00MZ5MNGW is a plume vail and a v nice atty tbh i have to admit i cheat to tidy up my coils wrap it burn the hell outa the little bugger in sprung loaded tweezers(found these to be safer than normal ones as it hurts when you drop a red hot coil on yer love spuds DO NOT COIL IN DRESSING GOWN ) and now the cheat part put coil back on former and grip the legs with pliers and pull it tight and neat the if i want it spaced pull it apart on the former till its all nice but sod all wrong with that coil may it be the 1st of many many more

I think its better to avoid heating points. It will improve the heat distribution. Many thanks for the reply! You may well be right for low gunking liquids, but for high gunkers like "coffee" I find spaced coils to work just as well with a longer time between wick changes.
