Auth Yosen Zero mod on Focal £49 ish Yihi chip

Well mine arrived today lovely looking mod, pity the damn 510 is not machined properly and i cannot get any atty to turn more than 1 -2 threads, jeez!

Emailed Doris to see how this can be resolved.

You cannot really tell with the pics, apart from the one of the Lemo displaying how far it will screw on


* Update, a temporary fix, i switched the battery cap with the 510, removed the central brass adjuster and switched the caps,and it works. Only thing is it wont sit very well but at least usable until a replacement part can be sent.

Yes, but I doubt the colours anything to do with it, just unlucky I guess and got one with a faulty threaded 510. I guess the QC was non existent because if they tried a tank on it, it's obvious the threads are bad.

Cheers for the heads up Q the 510 just un screws so no real biggy as long as they can send out a replacement part.

Apart from that it's a cracking wee box of tricks.

No i never bought a Stingray m8, but do you know anywhere in the UK i could get it, as it may be quicker than waiting for the Vendor to replace.
