I had no intention of buying this type of mod just yet, honest. However, I saw there was one left of the Pirate V2 (very like the Du Bocage) going at a bargain price and couldn't resist it. My first wooden mod and my first bottom feeder! Just got it today and am working on my "squonking" technique and trying it with a couple of different atomisers. I must say, when you get it right it is really good - direct dripping without the dripping It feels very nice in the hand and I think in the Portuguese beech wood and Brazilian blackheart wood it looks rather handsome:

Back to the Pirate! I'm really loving this. Have tried another juice in it now (VR cherrywood) and again the results are great. I have "over squonked" a few times which results in a mouthful of warm juice and a lot of gurgling, but am enjoying learning how to use it. I wasn't sure whether I would like a wood mod but agree with ali - they do look and feel very nice even compared to shinies If you want to see more of Rui's mods look here: kazulinhomods.miiduu.com/They really are nice!

I hasten to add that mine was a special offer - a lot less than that! I paid about £5 postage. He has a Du Bocage thread on UKV and has just announced that he has 4 or 5 available at the moment
