Wish I had the talent and patience to build a box like that. Oops just re read what you put. Prefer to try and build myself but could be willing to save up all my pocket money for a long time lol. Well if you need any help bigd building one or you want one built just let me know.

I'm gathering a few bits and pieces together now to practice soldering etc on. I've seen and understand wiring diagrams enough to manage that bit. I'm well handy with household electrics and pluming and even mechanical enough to strip, repair and rebuild anything with an engine so that side would be ok. It's finesse I struggle with, that finishing touch just isn't quite there, and I've never done much with electronics like soldering. I'm of work on long term sick at the mo so trying to get into this for a hobby.

E: dam it used to be free, worth 50 p if you want to learn the right way.

Wow, first time I've visited shapeways. They're not cheap are they. True but they are well made and they are not going to end up like a lot of box mods all scratched with the paint rubbed off. Plus they weigh next to nothing.

Them comments are fair enough, a quality mod deserves a quality case. Maybe in a year or two I might be decent enough builder to try 1 lol.

You could get hold of an old circuit board out of anything thats broken and use it to practice. Once youve mastered soldering the rest is not that hard. Stealthvape have a nice cheap hana box that comes with all the bits you need to put it together and if you can lay your hands on a cheap clone chip you could have a bash.

I've got a vamo 5 one coming free hopefully next week and I've got a dna30 and vamo10 in my FT basket when I feel up to it. My first attempt at soldering the other was a failure. So more practice needed.

Thanks for the offer there, but when I get my hands on another soldering iron and some flux this time I'm sure I have an old motherboard and sound card and computer bits I can practice on. Thanks for all help and being so friendly.
