Hot soapy water will do the trick or get yourself a sonic cleaner,

Usually if it turns white it's the juice you used some are tank crackers @vickywood. You can get around this easily by using glass (pyrex) tanks. Going back to your question though I clean mine in the ultrasonic cleaner but a lot of people just wash in warm soapy water.

A while back I washed some tanks, steeping them in Steradent and a white residue was left behind, but another wash in soapy warm water and a scrub with a new toothbrush sorted them. Now I just use warm soapy water and leave them to air dry overnight.

I just give a thorough rinse under the tap after stripping down the tank. Dry it off and away you go. No need to faff on with ultrasonic cleaners IMO.

I'm with Greg. Rinse in hot water, dry with kitchen tissue, refill, vape.

I tried to clean my bits and pieces in an ultrasonic bath once, I ended up in hospital after straining my back trying to leap up on the worktop and squat. It wasn't half embarrassing I can tell you.

Once a month all tanks and coils that are to be rebuilt get put into a baby bottle sterilizer with a drop of Milton. If refilling with same flavourthen hot soapy water for drip tip. If changing flavour rinse dry refil off ya go, and clean drip tip. Brass, copper mech mods weekly wipe with metal polish, every 2 months contralube on threads springs etc. Vv,vw devices weekly wipe with alcohol wipe to kill any buggs. Every time I swap tank isopropyl alcohol on a Q tip to clean the 510.
Also store needles in a jar with strong Milton solution and rinse syringes out with Milton solution after mixing session.

Every time I rewick I just rinse under a warm tap, dry and use. Once a month I give them an ultrasound bath with a little lemon juice - it reaches the parts you can't see without having to completely disassemble.

I must be a bit manky, I only clean my tanks before I use them for the first time to get rid of any machine oil residue and the like. 2 teaspoons of bicarb in some hot water and soak for a while, then rinse out and let them dry. I do the same with all my drip tips every couple of weeks though

When changing flavours i generally just dump the new juice in the tank, the old flavour soon disappears unless the old juice is something like menthol, but if it's just one fruit switching to another i just refill. I only bother cleaning the tank when the coil is past it or the wick needs replacing then i just pull the old coil off or chuck the old wick out and dump everything in the ultrasonic cleaner.
