Have to agree with her that "Non-Smoking should be the norm" but when will she an millions of others realise that we vapers are F*"%*%g non smokers. As for the other crap about "All governments should ban e-cigarettes or electronic nicotine delivery systems as they push millions of youngsters into the smoking habit. E-cigarettes do contain nicotine, which creates an addiction to the substance and that alone is a health risk " without a shred of evidence to back it up. Not all E-cigarettes contain nicotine as some use Zero Nic juices. Rant Over.

With intelligence like that I'll put myself forward for Secretary General of the UN - I could do untold damage with the lack of knowledge that this woman clearly has! How can anyone with an ounce of common sense believe cr@p like this, spouted by the WORLD Health Organisation? FFS, this woman must be held up to the world for the ignoramus that she is.

I was so incensed by this article that I took the time to post a comment:

What a travesty!! Margaret Chan should sack her advisers and go back to what she does best, which is obviously not saving the World's Health, which her Organisation should be focusing on!
5 minutes on Google would give her more answers to the reduction of tobacco than her advisers have provided. There is no tobacco in e-juice, and no evidence that nicotine is harmful to health.
I'm no doctor, or even a health professional, but I have more knowledge that she does on the harm that vaping purportedly causes.
Come on WHO, if you are doing your job properly, and not accepting cash from Big Tobacco and Bog Pharma, you would realise just how ridiculous this statement makes you appear to the world you are supposedly protecting.
Get your facts straight, and give us the real reason you are against vaping, and how over 4 million UK citizens have renounced the dreaded weed. Or would that risk your income..... ?

It annoys me that they keeps saying fruity/candy flavour ecigs is used to encourage the young uns to vape.
So, your supposed to reach a certain age and not eat sweets anymore, I never got that memo.

Actually sugar is a hell of lot more harmful than anything in Vaporizers. Maybe the WHO should concentrate on the Obesity Crisis in the developed nations.

It makes me mad that they are brain washing non vapers into thinking e cigs are as bad for if not worse for you than smoking is, it makes me mad when I read total rubbish thT this person has spouted without showing supportive evidence and research when if they bothered to do the research would find the opposite has happened,
I'm more worried about the drinking habits of young girls and I include my 21 niece in this she gets drunk nearly every day I think she has a slight dependence on alcohol and it worries me how much she drinks but try talking to her about it and it makes matters worse,
Maybe vapers need to attend these conferences and put forward the proper research
