Got mine working great at 4.1v/1.5ohms and I quite like it. The grip bits were not very gripy to say the least, I just did about 3 wraps at the top of the post then put a half hitch in it to lock it off. Down side is it leaks like a sieve.

Not taken mine out, I have no sign that it will be leaky and it may just be it spitting the deck and top cap are always wet, but if it is kept upright most of that will go into the slot and onto the wick, which needs to be snug in it hole.

As its my 1st gen I need to get the hang of the dos & donts. I may be over filling it and randomly waving it about which may be why its dribblin a lot. I wasnt sure how much wick it needed but its a good point to know. I have some .45 wire which Im going to attempt to make a grip spring out of and do another build on it.

~If this is anything like my in'ax nano you will come across a lot of problems. The issue with the grip spring thingys seems to be prevalent amongst the in'ax cloned stuff. Also if you do use ss mesh you probaly will get a lot of burnt hits unless you leave it a good few seconds before puffs. I'm sure the in'ax authentics work o.k but the clones you take a risk.

Mines still in daily use on the mech box. No messing about I only have to fill it up, the mesh wick just keeps on rockin . I made my own grip stix by wrapping some .45 Kanthal around the post about 3 wraps squish em tight then just trim the legs flush. Jobs a good un.

thanks guys, could i see your modified grip stick kanthal thing? just so i get a idea what to do if i need to make one Cant get a decent pic but its just a regular coil of your thickest wire made on the center post. By the time youve jammed some wire under it its as tight as a tight thing.
