Just got it from the manufacturer that these have SS top and bottom so shouldn`t be any wear problems. Changeable/chargeable battery 18650. Down to 0.2 ohms coil.

robby RoscopecotrainETA....... Bottom screws ARE CR*P one has already stripped out and I was EXTRA careful when putting the battery in Also the fire button sticks, this problem was reported on the FT reviews for it. However it does KICK like a Mule! You cannot vape when it's charging, the fire button is disabled.

My take on it is; now I've put a battery in it I will not open it again in a hurry as you can charge the battery in the device. Feels nice in the hand. Bags of power on tap. ALSO, it seems to do a pre-warm when you press the button... I will investigate more.

Hopefully mine will turn up before too long.
A slightly silly and pretty tricky question as it'll obviously depend on plenty of variables, but how have those of you with one found battery life to be? As expected? Better? Worse?

Plonked a 3100mAh 20A purple efest in and the mrs vaped for about 8 hours on it and still had about 60% battery life left. She had a 0.5 ohm subtank mini on there.
All seems good so far. Buttons feel responsive with no sticking, charging goes at a decent rate. The firing pin seems good as well, no of those istick/mvp issues to talk off. Dispaly is nice and clear, however the menu system takes a little getting used to (but you only need to go into this to switch from mech to regulated mode and back.
Very lightweight.
One note, it comes with a protective plastic film on the top and base that is easy to miss. The one on the base should be removed immediatly as it covers the battery vent holes. It wont stop the battery venting here, but it will reduce the paths for hot air around the battery to escape thus making the mod run hotter.
In all, a good buy for under a score of your puny earth pounds...mwahahahahaha

OK, been living with mine for a little while now and I like it BUT it does do something strange as the battery gets below 50% it defults to 7.5w output, if you put it back up it goes okay while you use it then if you put it down after a few tokes it reverts back to 7.5w when you first try it again...... weird ??? Also the prefire thing.... well it does seem to rise momentarily higher (volts) when you first press the button then settle back at the desired output, you have to look carefully at the disply to see it but I'm pretty sure it does this.

Most regulated devices will go over voltage momentarily DiscoDes . Most voltage control systems will overshoot by a certain %age then ripple above and below the desired voltage for a bit longer. It's a quirk of voltage regulator type circuits. You dont notice this on many devices as it reports the set voltage, not the actual instantanious voltage.
