Hi there, sorry if the following question is stupid.
I'm writing for some advice on ecigs on behalf of my Grandmother. She's recently received a diagnosis of lung cancer, and is keen to stop smoking. She's tried patches before but they didn't really help, and would prefer something she can hold and smoke like a cigarette.
She's been smoking Superkings Blue, around 15 a day since forever. She's also completely technically incompetent (hence why I'm posting this for her, she's only just gotten her head around mobile phones), so from a brief look, anything involving injecting, refilling isn't really going to work for her. Simplicity is key here.
So basically, I was wondering if there are any solutions that people could suggest, which would require minimum effort on her half, but which are still effective? I understand that the best solutions probably involve some degree of technical fiddling, but as she's really not likely going to be able to cope with much more than the very simple, some effectiveness will probably need to be compromised to help her stay with this "new fangled gadget".
Thanks a lot for any suggestions, it's greatly appreciated.

Hello & welcome DJ So sorry to hear about your Grandmother's diagnosis You can buy prefilled cartomisers but they do work out more expensive than filling & refillng with e-liquid. Does the size/look of the e-cig matter?

Welcome Sorry to hear about your gran. If you see her frequently then maybe you could fill up the cartomisers for her so they are ready to use.

Hi DJ and welcome to the forum Sorry to hear about your gran's diagnosis I have the SD Keyrings that Karma suggested and they are a really good piece of kit. They are quite light and compact but they have quite a good battery on them

Hello and welcome, im so sorry about your Grandmother You can buy pre-filled carts, infact thats what i started on and i really got on well with them. Im guessing she would like it to be the same size as a cig as well? Which she can have the only problem is the battery life.

Wow, thanks for the fast replies.
Prefilled sounds like the best solution for her really. I live 2 hours away, I'm just down at the moment to support her during her investigations and treatment for the next few weeks, but in the longer run, I'm not going to be able to refill them for her.
I've shown her the SK, and she's asked if there's anything that looks more like a cigarette? From searching, the one that looks the most appealing to her in terms of appearance is the VIP, although people's reports seem to be that that's a bit rubbish?

Bel, I've just been reading a thread from someone on ECF that is far from happy with their Realis, plus the prefilled cartomisers they sell are far from the cheapest DJ, the VIP is again expesive to buy the prefilled cartsomisers. The sd keyring really is far better & cheaper, especially using discount code allabout for 10% off from Vape Escape. It's a shame Safer-cigs is still out of stock with his Intro-vapour - www.safercigs.co.uk/Intro_Vapour_24MG_B_H/p705283_4164248.aspx
