Hello there

Gary here.Why do i not manage to get through a day without having a normal fag?
Is it me or just no will power?

I have had some probs with some atomisers but that has now been sorted.

Are there any other atomisers that might fit the F1 E-CIG

No advice sorry as I am fairly new to this vaping lark myself but I am sure the more experienced members will be able to advise you Try not to be too down on yourself about the ciggies, I am still having to use the analogues myself as I have yet to find my perfect e-juice flavour (enjoying trying them though)

Hi Gary and welcome to AAE-C ...the F1 is the same as the eGo-W which accentually is an eGo/riva battery with a 'clearomiser' type atomiser. anything that has a 510 connection should fit. so that opens out your options massively.

i would guess you still have an urge to smoke due to not having your perfect juice ...this could be due to flavour or nicotine strength

what nic strength and juice do you currently use ?

Gary, as Gordy says the F1 has a 510 thread, then I would recommend you trying some Boge cartomisers on them (use discount code allabout for 10% off) -

Maybe try a higher strength juice or low resistance cartomiser Gary? I'd say it depends on how many your smoking a day and is that too many for you, if it's just the one or maybe 2 those last 2 can be the hardest to give up and many people just carry on with them.

From your post though I'd say you weren't happy having them, so I'd either up the juice strength or LR and see how that goes. Just suck on the e-cig till the craveing goes

I read on another forum a post from someone who said their Doc that if they smoked 20 fags a day they should start by vaping and taking 2 cigs out of a full pack every day for a week, the next week take 4, the next week they should take out 6 and so on until eventually they smoke zero. I was a 25 a day smoker and I don't like depriving myself so this seemed a good approach to it ! My only deviation on it was to try and smoke 2 less a day at the weekend than I plan to smoke during the following week , so for example although next week is my 12 week today I am on track to smoke 10 (which is 4 less than yesterday). This I find great motivation in my week cos if you've done it before you'll do it again . Since I took on this advice I have never smoked more than the "allocation" I have allowed myself but I have frequently smoked less. This is by no means a tried and tested theory as I am only half way there but whilst I still can't imagine a zero cig life I can also not imagine a 25 a day habit if next week I fail at my 12 a day habit I'll go back to my 14 a day habit and not beat myself up about it.
From reading these forums you will find a lot of people who instantly give up cigs but if you ask you will find a lot of people who still smoke ( I did ask ). A lot of people say eventually cigs will taste disgusting and you won't smoke anymore so I am waiting on that day. ....


Oh and I think at least one person misread my plan and thought I was down to two a day already I don't think I explained it properly and don't want credit where it not due yet

In any case cutting my cig intake in half has got to be beneficial and I am happy I have got there

So as the ad's say handle it one cigarette at a time

I know I am a total beginner but I in my humble opinion do feel if you have the right e-liquid you will find it just as good as a real cigarette, I know I was very lucky, the reg flavour that was in my gamucci cartomisors to me tasted and felt ( throat hit) just the same as my usual ones and so instead of doing what I was planning - which was like you Kristy- to cut down at least one a week ( I had managed to go from 20 to 18 a day over past 6 months - I used to put them into a empty pack and when there was 18 in it use that then start again) but instead first day I used my e-cig it was just right and so smoked the last two cigarettes I had the next morning and never ( so far) looked back. I honestly do believe though if I had not got the right flavour straight away I would not have managed this ( I did buy and try a disposible and it was no wear near as good, I certainly wouldn't have given up so easily on them). Only down side of the Gamucci was the cartomisors are so expensive but I didn't mind as I at least was not using real ones.

All I can do is wish you luck and try and buy some of the sample sizes and maybe try the higher stength (24mg) to see if that satisfies you more.

The set up i am using does nt give me a hit on my throat.Perhaps i need to ask what mix and strength to go for.
The reason i took to vaping was i tried someones and i got a really good hit on my throat but not managed to get that hit again
I just want to get off fags(i know its not easy) :-[
