seriously though, it is used to treat ketosis is cattle (amongst other things) and it is sold as ketosis treatment in our local MSF or whatever they are called these days

I would bet the farm it is food grade (as it is fed to cattle, or rather used in cattle food storage AFAIK) as regulations for animals in most cases are more stringent than for people, but as for being pharma grade I don't think this would be required (in this application) as in this example it wouldn't be classed as a pharmaceutical product... To treat ketosis though I think it would be classed as a pharmaceutical product if it was a human application (therefore it would legally need to be BP grade)

Take from that what you will, if animal rights activists found out it was being used and it wasn't BP grade they would kick up a stink I would imagine, that doesn't mean it isn't happening though.

Thanks for the advice tomm, and the link ROK... I highly doubt it will be, looked on a few other sites selling the exact same bottle, and every product on those sites that is BP is clearly described as being so in the product description, this isn't.

Never mind, thought it was too good to be true, and as they say, it usually is. That seems a decent deal though Rok.
