Hey guys, I have a dilema. I normally get about 10-20ml of my favourite juice in 50/50 PG/VG. For some reason when I placed an order for 50ml of my juice I decided to switch up the mix to 60/40. This has had a dramatic effect on my juice, so much so that I have a sore throat and cannot vape it as the menthol seems to have gotten stronger in this larger size. Is there anything I can do in terms of diluting it back down? If I cannot tone it down whilst keeping the flavour I may have to give it up

You won't be able to dilute it without diluting the flavour and nicotine content too unfortunately. Is it just plain menthol? If it is, then it'll be OK to dilute, make up the 10% of glycerin yourself and that'll also weaken the taste of the menthol. I don't think you'd notice the lower strength nic. too much.

i would try as Anne suggested, mix up say a 5ml bottle of your juice with 10% VG and see how that effects your juice... you may even find leaving the top off for a day or two may mellow it down a tad too

I have had a menthol that was much stronger than it usually is, couldnt vape it, I like it subtle, its still rolling around in a drawer, will use a bit of it here and there to touch up other juices that I am not keen on

Oh dear, thanks guys. It is a tricky one as it is a menthol tobacco blend. I was thinking of adding vg and sacraficing the taste. It isn't my own blend so that makes it difficult, just a shame as this is my first big bottle! Does the taste change the larger the bottle?

Not really so long as you give it a good shake...
I make mine up in 50ml bottles (mix self) and I notice the taste drops off after a few days. Doesn't bother me...
It's up to you...

Some good ideas thanks guys. I diluted the juice with some plain VG, to be honest the taste of the tobacco side is a little weaker, but that menthol still gives me a headache!! I think I will try adding some of a tobacco low that I have. If this fails, it gets chucked!
