hi Can anyone tell me if it's safe to freeze nic base in glass bottles? I know water expands when frozen and can crack glass but does the same apply to nic base? Oh I should probably mention it VG based
Cheers

Yes it's fine, glass is best for the freezer. Nic base won't actuallt freeze solid like water it just goes even gloopier so no expansion / cracking issues

Dark glass (the type used for storing medicinal products) is good as light will denature the nic base. I've half a litre of base stored, down from a litre ooh 18 months to 2 years ago, and it's never gone off on me so far. Not even a bit orangey, which is the sign it's starting to decline.

Water is about the only substance to expand when it freezes.

hi Can anyone tell me if it's safe to freeze nic base in glass bottles? It's fine . . . amber is considered to be the best colour glass, for the least degradation.

I still have a bottle of your finest base from VF14 Perpetua It's a standby, sitting there with your writing on reminding me of good times in a field in Salop (phnar phnar).

Just remember to fill those bottles right up to the top. Less air in there the better.

It goes so gloopy its like treacle had to decant some recently and was in a hurry took 5 mine to fill a 100 mil bottle lol. If I have a half bottle I blast in a shot of nitrogen to displace any air for longterm storage.
