Even if they do ban ecigs in China, which I very much doubt, they wont stop the massive dollar flow from exports IMHO

China would kill e-cig production in a heartbeat if it suited them, say as a bargaining chip with the EU, USA or WHO, even though the produce tonnes of vaping kit it is an insignificantly small part of their economy. I hope they don't and don't think they will, but it is not as big deal for them as we like to think.

Production would just move out of China to other far eastern countries, so not likely to have a major impact. Vaping is here to stay while there is money to be made.

What can I add?

The chance of China stopping exports of e-cig hardware (batteries/mods/atomisers) is low. I'd say almost zero. It's a multi-million dollar industry.

They might choose to ban vaping (in China) to protect their tobacco sales, but that is different. If people are buying 'stuff', China is selling.

The source - ChurnMag is another dodgy "affiliate" review site. Sure, they do review mods and decent kit, but we know the real reason for these sites is to promote brands such as V2, Greensmoke and Whitecloud... and make money pretending they review independently.

As I have said before, it suits these review sites to spread negative gossip, as that leads to more panic-buying of products.

China won't stop. There would need to be a really compelling reason - unless they genuinely want to pay ball in global tobacco sales.

China of all countries in the world know the simple economics of supply and demand, if they choose not to supply the next will move in.

I don't think they will stop, but it is not a significant part of their economy, more a good very little earner for them. All those little cnc shops would just copy other stuff, might put a 1,000 or two out of the 1,000,000,000 out of work for a while.
