Squonking mods are a dark art I know nothing about @windows even though I've been studying them for a while. Some sort of button press rather than an aperture would look better imo ....oh, let the cat out of the bag there If you can come up with something that would have the required travel without sticking outside like an emergency stop button that would be great.

That's a brilliant little mod Scooby. Looking at the space in there it could even been smaller and flush button would have been a preference for me. But fantastic work. You and Windows could start up your own buissiness making these full time.

Ok if it was red it would still look like a emergency stop button but it's smaller than the fire button. I'm not sure about the travel but I notice it's a square tank. It's very compact, not much taller than the 18650 and it has the looks. Do the magnets on the right of the door in the picture attach directly to the battery? @scooby

Hey bigd and sydsut it flattering that you think it's my work, it's the sort of thing I'd be striving for if i attempted one, but it was just a few pics I found to give @windows some inspiration. It's a mod maker/reviewers mod from Italy, his work inspired me to build/copy my Eclipse DNA40. here's a link to his blogHe posts under the name mc0676 on the esig forum All extremely inspirational and the Esig forum has some very skilled mod makers by the look of it. That's what I reckon sydsut can't be anything else as he's machined out the original turrets to make space for the battery so no room for magnets in the corners.
