I like that Womble I think I'll print it out and send it with new kits as part of the instruction manual.

Another thing that is always worth a try - although not so much fun! If the green light is on when you have screwed the battery in - just unscrew it a bit and see if the light changes to red. I regularly have to do this with Riva/ eGo type batteries.

To be serious for a minute. As long as there isn't a short between the terminals, then you should be ok. Maybe get something thin and clean out the well around the centre contact, check there is nothing stuck in there.
I'm not sure how you could test it with a multimeter to see what is wrong, if it isn't working anyway. Maybe someone else could advise on this.
Do you have any idea how old it is?

It just sounds to me, as if it's just gone wrong, try to remember who you bought it off.

Does it have 'RIVA' etched into the top of the battery Karma?
If it does, send it to me. Alternatively, PM me your details and I'll check the orders and see if you got it from me.

karma it could be the middle connector pin has sunk and not making connection with the atty. you can first try moving the atty connection out a little with a flattened paperclip and see if this works or alternatively use a pair of tweezers or mini screwdriver to wiggle the middle connector on the battery.
this happened to me loads and i thought my batteries were dead everytime.

Ok, i seem to have it working again! It is charged and so long as I don't screw the cartomiser right in it works! It's a riva battery with a gold band and riva is etched into the gold bit. i think it's probably going to be ok, probably just new user error Thanks guys

as king said its likely to be the center pin of the battery has dropped a little... raise it up a little with a small screw driver or cocktail stick
