Oooh please don't mention cars... my man is ex navy and now taxis now to supplement pension (ie pay for our really expensive teens) His car has been in and out of garage constantly this past year and I'd kept pointing out that he needed to swap vehicles to something newer and more reliable, for the 4th time this year he broke down on Saturday gone and I'm afraid I flipped (lots)  We will be collecting his new car at end of week  his old one is traded in but gearbox gone so its patched by mechanic (bill =£150) to limp to showroom to be traded, fingers crossed its not in a blue cloud of smoke. Its worth a lousy £500 of price of new (to us) one. Meanwhile hes off work all week and has to suss out how to remove radio, data head, get new car taxi badges, cleared by town hall, windows etched and all the gear wired into new one  where's the vodka? and congrats on new car  Greg us too! |
