My nephew is vaping but he is using a blue ecig, he says it works fine for him and he doesn't like the size of my istick 50w I want to get him a bit of decent kit as a present for passing out (second time around) and he will soon be joining the corp that does dog handling, but I don't know what to get him, he likes the size of blue, so i was thinking itaste V3 or evod, emow, I used to have a couple of v3 but i really don't know much about the last two or if there is anything like that that is better? any advice on the smaller vv/vw or similar would be greatly appreciated,

If he's happy with the blu then leave him to it. Just be ready for when he isn't.
You can't force anyone to do anything thumb up

Is it the cigalike style ? Maybe he just wants something small that doesn't require filling ? I know they are kind of ridiculed on here but in the middle of the desert with all the rest of the army gear you have to lug around with you, maybe a bottle of juice and some paper towel is just seen as unnecessary. And who wants to try and refill there tank when under fire ? If its working for him then I wouldn't try to make him switch if he doesn't want to. On the other hand if he shows an interest in moving to something better ........

If you want to buy him something for his success, just ask him what he wants. Better he receives something he likes or needs than something he is not really bothered about. Passing out seems quite an event in a young persons life so maybe get him something he will have a long time and cherish. .

as said, is it the cig a like premium kit or the pro kit that take e liquid.
ive got both and the cig a like hasnt even been touched since i got them. the pro i still use every day for my nic hit at work but i also have a istick30 which is great.
if he prefers the large pen type then there are quite a few available but ive never used them so not sure what to recommend.

Maybe that was being a bit extreme, but the point I was trying to make was that maybe the cigalike was convenient for him to use. Perhaps if he was using the cigalike then came under fire it would be easier to stuff into a pocket than a 100W box mod with subtank attached

About the size to me the height has always been the problem IMO, never had a Vamo to my eyes box mods are more inconspicuous in the hand YMMV. Maybe an iStick Mini so he can get the benefit of a decent tank then he may decide to upgrade to an iStick.

He does fill it charliehorse I have made him some juice he likes strawberry and pineapple but it did look like a refillable cartridge when he showed me ( I thought refillable cartridges were expensive though) don't know much about them tbh I never got on with those types of cigalikes, I know he just doesn't want anything to big, he likes the pen size ones don't think he really minds what type as long as it's thin, am hoping he will stop but can't see that happening at mo, didn't know they did a v4 will have a look at them thanks zeldamum and thank you all that has given advice. give him something special show him how proud of him I am.

You might be right there, think he does want to hide the fact as much as possible and istick mini might be ideal,

It's not often I have anything in common with him these days apart from our love of animals for once didn't feel the odd one out with vaping/smoking since my father, brother and sister in law gave up smoking, for past 6 years I have been nagged at for smoking but they are all supportive of vaping, I think that's why I want to give him something special show him how proud of him I am. Ah well, best ignore what I was saying then I liked Brambles suggestion of asking him what he would like. Something non vape related ? A small keepsake to mark the occasion ? Good luck with whatever you end up getting him though.

The SD keyring is about the smallest device to deliver enough nic to keep a person off cigs. Their cartos are supposed to be good. It isn't a cheap way to vape - the cartos can be refilled but you won't find the exact same juice - Cavecom have it custom made for them.

I'd suggest a Evod or a Kanger EMow kit, nice and small not too far a step from the Blu cig but built to be refilled and faff free.
