first time coil making help plz

hmm still struggling looking at wire looking at the calc looks like 24,25 poss 26 gauge to get 0.5ohm coil for subtank mini atomiser replacement ,but whats the difference on fasttech between the normal kanthal a1 and the kanthal nichrome,more expensive but in calc seem to run cooler (some say the nichrome isnt genuine kanthal even though site says it is) ,also the calc say there is lots of different nichrome different n numbers so dont know which to put in as fasttech dont list them....any chance of someone who knows what they are doing having a quick look for me ? looking to make 0.5 ohm coil for subtank mini 0.5 ohm 2mm wrap running between 18-22 w normally on original ,the clac say on these wires heat runs at cool to just hot on 26g ,as i say i don't know how that compares to to the original

sorry to be a pain just if someone is already recoiling close to genuine or better, info would be great other wise is it just kanthal a1 or kanthal a1 nichrome and order all 3 dont really want to order 3 of both a1 and nichrome, and then spend the time to find out ....i don't have ohm meter but it does show it on my ivp mini 2 70w so that should be ok to test

also best cotton to use organic ?   muji,Koh Gen Do, or any others ....sorrry
