The @ukflavours is a nice little kit, and the concs Ive had so far have been very good. Youll get roughly 50 10ml bottles of 12mg juice out of it for around 60p a bottle if my math is correct. That would be a high PG juice so an extra VG at some point would be needed to up the VG content to eek it out a little further. Good luck.

It's not as daunting as it first seems jacq this made it all clear to me I bought a kit from The Alchemists cupboard similar to the one mentioned but without all the concentrates and it has all you need to get started. The only thing I would say is that you're probably better off with the VG kit as explained by Frogster in the guide I linked to. Also take note of the safe handling of nicotine. I soon found measuring in ml with syringes a pain so invested in some scales that measure to 0.01g and mix by weight now, that made the process much easier, more accurate, less faff and quicker cleaning up after. All the best with you new venture

I use 1g/ml for all concentrates phatfil, I'm not sure it's exact but it's close enough for the quantities used. The other ones I use are: Nic is 1.01g/ml so you can work out the weight of 1ml of any strength base. 72mg VG base 1.24g/ml 72mg PG base 1.034g/ml VG 1.26g/ml PG 1.036g/ml I have seen slight variations of this but as with weighing, it's consistency and not absolute accuracy that matters. I use the mixing calculator on here then I put the ml for each ingredient into a simple spreadsheet to give me the weights

Cheers @scooby washing/rinsing all the syringes is a real pita and trying to keep them dedicated to a singke liquid is almost as bad, a £5 set of drug dealers scales might be a nice solution to the problem..

Totally agree, makes mixing a pleasure and there are some good cheap scales about, not spot on accurate but consistency is what you want.

Using syringes is half the fun of mixing, IMHO, and when I'm mixing I enjoy a good cackle or too.

I agree the syring route works for me. By buying 1ml by the 100 you can use a new one for every concentrate, then rinse them all at the end.

Concentrates all have a drip spout so they get dropped straight into the mixing vessel on the scales. I fit these to my PG, VG and nic base and do the same with them. No syringes used at all so no faff or mess of trying to measure say 13.35ml in a syringe, just drop it in until it weighs 16.82g Yep syringes work but for me they make unnecessary work

Not sure I know what you mean @vince01i When you weigh the liquids do you do an all in one mix and keep a running total of the weight, or do you mix the liquids one at a time straight into your dropper bottle ? I would have thought that if you used a separate mixing vessel some liquids especially vg, would leave a residue that would throw your subsequent weighing out, or do you not need to be that accurate ?

I always round up my mixes (using syringes, I should add) to the nearest whole number - 16.58 would get rounded to 17, etc. It really isn't going to make that much difference to my 30,50 and 100ml mixes if I lose.42ml somewhere along the way! Rinsing syringes - I mix in the kitchen with a bowl of warm water at my elbow, and give them a quick 'suck-up' or three plus a jiggle in the water between uses - what could be simpler!?
