Need a switch for a mod I am making
It needs to be small enough to sit inside a tube of around 15mm diameter.
I will be using an aa size battery although unsure what that size it is (i Know they do one) that fits inside the tube.
this will be wired to the switch then the atty connector and is made of a polished alluminium so needs to look nice to not one of them coloured plastic things from maplins.
because of the size of the tube the switch needs a small hole diameter.


So your task is to advise me of the voltage/ampage I should be using and where to find a good looking switch that I can solder then glue into place in the tube so as it dosnt protrude too much
and will work when I press it (unlike the maplins ones I already have).

having some thoughts of a tactile switch but it may have to be mounted as I want to use the body for negative.
Am currently playing with plastic dowls and pen springs something will come up and i appreciate your looking it all helps

I wouldn't advise using the body for the negi..

Those maplin switches are only rated 1A so not really suitable..

How many batteries are you planning to put in and what type?

macca that switch is 16 mm diameter will be too big for my purpose
why not the body for neg thats what the LT is
I am currently playing with something that'll be totally manual but its getting late and my brain is addled now so owill think and play again tomorrow
