Ok so it arrived on Saturday morning from Fasttech But I have no batteries for it so I can't try it. Been reading a few threads on here about batteries but most of it goes over my thick head... ( allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/53374/batteries )Could someone please advise me what make of button-less 18650s are safe... And where to get them quick? Also would I be able to leave the battery in and use the mains charger used for the istick 20 & 30 Many thanks Trevor

Well worth the extra expense. An 18650 should last majority of the day fully charged. And if you get two, you'll always have one ready to use

All the above batteries linked are perfect. Yes you can use the micro usb charger to charge the battery on the cloupor but i would advise against it as that is where the problems are with the over heating and catching fire so a 2 bay or 4 bay nitecore intellicharger. Mine is nearly 3 years old and still working so a good investment.

The Cloupor Mini can charge from USB too - I never use my nitecore these days as all my mods have USB facility and its much more convenient.
Batteries are still sold separately however

Was only an issue on the earliest models and the problem had nothing to do with charging - the dodgy ones were spontaneously combusting when just sat resting The USB charging is fine on the current models

They're great chargers, now go to Torchy on Ebay for your batteries or email him direct and get a better price link
