I've gone for Golden Brown - hope for glen's sake I'm right Very true actually, not nice to go red or beetroot red, can be real nasty. I've seen many a tourist end up at the hospital having to have injections amongst other treatment because they've gone overboard with the sunbathing, some even miss their flights back home coz the hospital insists on keeping them in coz they're sooooo badly burnt. I'm sure our glen will be a sensible sunbather

Normally September is the hottest month of the year (other than when we get the calimas (heat) in from the sahara desert which is what we've got now). It can also sometimes go on right through to end of October. I remember having friends over on halloween day, 31st October, and it was a scorcher then too. So you should be ok if you like it hot, if not then you've got problems

I've seen similar even here in Cornwall, toots - it must be so painful I've heard it is very very painful. You know something Chrissie I see a lot of tourists laying out on the sunbeds by the pool day after day, all day long, and I really don't know how they do it. I just cannot sit in the sun for very long at all, let alone lay out in it My maximum time for actually sitting in the sun is half hour in the morning sunshine with my cuppa tea, before it gets too hot, and then possibly another half hour just before the sun sets. After half an hour I've had enough Of course I do get more sun when I'm out and about walking around, but that's not the same as sitting in it all day long.

You're gonna be like this on your hols then whilst your other half is lapping it up like this and this You would need to drink at least 4 litres of water a day to stay hydrated, you'd probably not feel too bad then - well hopefully

My biggest fear over glen is the language barrier, I bet they can't understand a word he's saying

I remember when I was in Egypt, roughly 40's and 1 beer at lunchtime gave me a banging headache, was Leffe to blame, usually recovered by tea time though
