Hi All. I've spent the past week trawling for information on e-cigs nd my head is done in lol. It's a minefield out there so I'm glad I came across this forum. I've decided to buy the Riva 1100 kit from from Vape Escape but I have some questions. I'm allergic to some of the ingredients in PG liquid. Will the Riva 1100 work well with VG liquid? Where can I buy VG? (Vape Escape doesn't stock it). I currently smoke about 12 roll-ups. Could I get a VG liquid that is close to the taste of Golden Virginia? What strength liquid would be best? Where's a good place to buy VG liquid? Do cartomizers work OK with VG and are they easy to re-fill. I'm reading mixed info on that one. Oh, and what the heck is a drop tip ??? Sorry for all the newbie questions Any help would be great

Hi Cueball and welcome Riva is a good choice to start with. VG is thicker than PG some some say a little pg is better to help with the wicking but as long as you don't take a drag every time you breathe I think you will be fine. Paradise Vape paradisevapeuk.vstore.ca/ do a good selection of juices and you can try them out for £3 for a 5ml bottle, Available in VG only mixes from the drop down box. I'd recomend about 12-18 strength to start with as your not a very heavy rolly smoker. Cartomisers are super easy to refil, a few techniques to try as well, with video how tos on youtube but you can drip from the open end (take the little lid off) untill it drips out the other being careful not to get any down the center tube or force it in from the bottom battery end using the little plastic covers that comes with them (condoms) Drip tip helps to keep your lips cool, and you can drip through it as well to top up the cartomiser. They also help to add a touch of personality to your e-cig Purely out of noseyness, what is it in PG that you are allergic to ?

cueball Can't really add much to the info. that Jem has given you, apart from it's impossible to replicate a tobacco flavour in an e cig, There is golden virginia flavour liquid, but it won't taste like your tobacco, maybe a slight similarity, I don't know. .

Hi Cueball and welcome to the forum... great advice so far, the only thing i'd add is a drip tip is simply a mouth piece to pop on the end of the cartomiser for extra comfort ...they come in all shapes and sizes to suit I'm not an expert on tobacco flavour by a long shot but the golden virginia i have tried tastes alot like how the baccy smells from the packet rather than how it tastes being smoked

Purely out of noseyness, what is it in PG that you are allergic to ? I'm allergic to most alcohols and I believe PG liquid contains Methyl and maybe ethyl. Probably just a trace amount but I ain't risking it Thanks to everyone for the superb advice. I have just visited the Vape Escape site and ordered the Riva 1100, a nice drip tip, and some cartomizers. I have also ordered some VG Liquid (Golden Virginia) from the other site mentioned. Thanks to everyone for their advice. At the beginning of the week I was completely lost but after reading through this forum I feel like an expert on vaping already - even though I've never actually vaped

Hi Cueball and I think you've had your initial questions answered, one thing i'll add is you can thin down VG liquid with a small amount of distilled water.
