Come on jcol and lee, how are you getting on This is my first TC device so nothing to compare it too. Really like it so far, its a heavy little beast, was in a hurry tonight to have a play with it lol, so i whacked in a pre made coil i got from Fasttech, 0.2ohms, 410f, 16w, seems spot on to me, but its early days

As far as i know, it uses the same SXK chip as the Zero buggritt sure looks neat enough, but with the s/w being iffy and not being open source its too risky a punt for me atm.. Why dont evolv and SXK distribute the source and a VisualStudio express snapin so we can sort out the bloody s/w ourselves, we are not talking about any amazingly new bleeding edge s/w implementations here, its all rehashing of centurys old equations.. given material A and a known resistance, X watts of power will heat up to target temp, work out X and apply. The hard work has been done by the chip manufacturers fitting it all onto a mod friendly sized board, we will still need the h/w so its not going to cost them anything to release the sources and ide.. and if you consider the instances of bricking due to a bad image transfers they will make shed loads more cash selling new unbricked boards too.

I got a reel of 28 and 29awg nickel from stealthvape also arrived today. But the premade one was a doddle to fit also reasonable as well. i only bought a 10 pack to try them out, but a 50 pack is only £6.12
