no i ment low resistance in a squonker is pointless but sorry for hijacking your thread No not at all, always keen on hearing other opinions and I'm fairly new to squonking so keen to hear what others have to say. But low resistance in a squonker for me is not pointless, guess it depends on your atty and the device etc and personal preference.

ok i will bite as i dont know either way, Why is a small resistance coil not best suited to squonking/dripping?? is it the lag in heating up due to the extra input needed? must admit after trying to digest some of the battery info Ripshod has been sharing I initially lept to the danger of running in a mech mod where the internal resistance of the batteries could be a significant proportion of the total resistance in the circuit??? but i am not certain tbh. thanks for any attempts to enlighten, as even the best laid out argument may not penetrate my thick skull..

I use anything tween 0.6 and 1.8ohm. the cyclone gets very hot, not just warm with a low resistance. An airflow helps. The zenith is a very airy atty for me. I'm waiting on some chalices to see what they're like. Overall I prefer the cyclones so far. Its personal preference and whatever works for you

It's not such a concern with a good battery phatfil. The AWT 18650 had an IR of 76 milliohms and was a worry. I have the 18350 from JacVapour and thats measuring 27milliohms. An 18350 that wipes the floor with an 18650 in that respect. I'd happily vape a 0.5ohm coil on that with no worry.
