Great value, out of the temp limiting mods I have owned I would give it 7 out of 10, Evolv DNA40 8.5 out of 10 and YiHi SX Mini M Class 3 out of 10, this is purely for the temp limiting and associated features.

I fancied an sx mini but not heard many people praise them now the hype has died down. I think the hcigar vt40 will be the mod for me if I get on with temp control as a zero DNA 40 isn't gonna happen any time soon

for a entry level works as it should TC mod check out the Dovpo 50w TC box circa $40/£26-£28 @ fasttech and gearbest a lil cheaper @gearbest, but when will it ship???

I dont know what board is fitted I did crack it open to have a look and its an all in one board with no markings i could see??
and doesent look like any evolve or yihi tc boards ive seen pics of??

i did the dry cotton burn test and set at 290C (the out of the box setting) it did slightly discolour the dry cotton wick, i dropped it to 280C and it passed with flying colours no hint of a burn on a dry wick, i now run it at 260C and it vapes great..

with temp control you dont need anything like 50w, highest i have it set is 30w and with a < 0.2 ohm coil fitted the temp control drops the watts as soon as you fire to keep the temp within the set limit..

sorry if i come over all evangelical but i am very impressed and pleased with this mod, i wondered if TC might be a bit to tricky for me to work with being basically a novice vaper, but as is its simples..

Batteries? I just looked at my one and there is loads of machining dirt in the battery cap threads on the body.

Ive just checked to make sure the batteries are fully charged which they are. It turned on fine when it arrived, been sat on the side all afternoon, picked it up to mess around with the features and dead

Don't sound good, I know blakey had one die on him and I cant find an Allen key to fit the top screws about 1.4 mm I guess they are imperial and I may have some in the shed.
