I notice some members use an ultrasonic cleaner for their tanks etc...........
Is it worth getting one?
Kind regards Damian

No they are not required, I bought one and used it a few times initially but now good old soap and water is all I use. Less faff and quicker.

They are especially handy for cleaning rebuildable atomisers and tanks. You can get limited success cleaning coil heads. You can use them for cleaning lots of other non vape related things like jewellery and they are great for spectacles.

Not essential, but they reach the parts other cleaners cannot reach, I mostly use mine for gleaning stainless steel wicks, atties and concentrate bottles.

I find that it's next to useless for bottles, do you have one with an attachment for keeping stuff beneath the liquid? mine just start to float and it only gets ½ clean

I fill mine first as well but I still end up with an air gap at the end, and can only get 5 bottles in at a time (Just had 40 new ones delivered) so normal washing up for me

Some use denture cleaning tablets to leave the tanks to soak in too so could be a good alternative or at the same time maybe, theres quite cheap too which is nice! But hand washing each kayfun v4 part would be so much easier with an ultrasonic cleaner

I bought mine a few weeks ago and have used it quite a lot. I like it. I used to soak all my gear overnight in washing up liquid or bicarb of soda (depending what I was soaking), then I'd soak in plain water overnight again to make sure I got all the soap out, then leave to dry overnight, so that was 3 days it took to get stuff clean. Now I use the ultrasonic cleaner with a little washing up liquid (just a couple of drops), rinse with tap water and leave to dry overnight - simple - all done in a fraction of the time it took before I've also used it for my jewellery which has come up like new, nice & sparkling, although I have been warned by a jeweller friend of mine not to put real diamonds in the ultrasonic cleaner as eventually they will fall out of their settings.

Cheap alternative is a ultrasonic jewerly cleaner. 4AA battery's and two runs perfect. A fiver well spent

I had one of these and out was next to useless. I got a "proper" mains one and the results were fantastic compared to this. Sorry
