Ok, almost 3 years of vaping, during which i have played with VV devices, VW deviced, learned to coil and wick drippers and genisis, built my own mods, and now sub ohming.
Only 1 thing i need to try now, and that is making my own liquids, so i am starting to put together a shopping list. However, as much as i may know what i need, knowing where to get it, and get the best value for money is still a mystery to me. So where do you guys buy the following.....
VG PG Nicotine Flavours
I want to really get in to this, as sub ohming is making buying liquid expensive, so am happy to go for large volumes if they give a better deal.

www.ukflavours.com is a good place to start, go for a PG nicotine base (VG is very thick in comparrison and harder to suck up in a syringe.. ) 99p sample size flavours so you can buy a load cheaply to test id you like or not.. ampulla.co.uk for large numbers of bottles for mixing ebay/amazon for latex gloves/syringes

PG / VG: Classikool on eBay or Amazon Nicotine: Everything Liquid DarkStar UK Flavours PiratesVapeFlavours: Chefs Vapour - a huge range including all the popular brands. FlavourArt - just FA's Italian-made range plus UK blends - highly recommended. JustVape247 - another wide selection including some vg-based concentrates Leisure Liquids - yet another... LL also stock Inawera, Seedman and some organic flavourings. Cupcake World - Specialises in catering gear with loads of interesting flavours - some aren't suitable for vaping so ask if you're in any doubt.

@ukflavours is where I've gotten my last few lots of nic base - Sarah's site is in Maintenance mode currently, but if you PM her - then I'm sure she'll sort something out for you GothicLord. VG base is my personal preference - are you looking to make VG heavy mixes for your sub ohm stuff?

If you'll forgive me . . . . too much is made of how difficult it is to draw a VG base/VG up. Do away with needles completely and use a small cup, shot glass, the cap of a mouthwash bottle ( anything really! ) pour some of your VG base/VG into that and draw up using a syringe. Couldn't be easier.

I would have to say chefs vapour were the site I used for my first batch of mixing 'stuff' quick delivery, and well priced (don't forget the discount code!) I would also have to say .. JUST GO FOR IT you'll love it ! I'm hooked after mixing one batch and have ordered more concentrates yesterday as only ordered the Red Astaire concentrate on the first order. Happy Mixing GothicLord

I'd also agree with Perpetua yes the VG is thicker so ultimately wont be as quick to 'suck up' in a syringe, however a little patience is all thats needed. Sucking up a liquid is simple but sucking up custard for example is bound to take a little longer

Thanks for all the advice everyone has given it is a massive help. When it comes to the mixing, it wont bother me too much how thick the base components are, as long as it wicks well when mixed I have recently found my self with a lot more spare time out of work (due to leaving the gf ), so this little adventure not only serves to cut costs but also to take up some time I am looking forward to trying this, and knowing me, i will go over the top and end up with a stockpile of juice

I'd suggest starting with ready made concentrates, as in those that have been flavour combined already to replicate a complete e-liquid you know you like.
A good example is T-Juice, another would be Pixie Juice, in that the recommended percent to mix at is stated on bottle (or website) and you aren't having to tinker with multiple flavours to work out what suits your taste. If you cut your teeth on 'one shot' concentrates you can branch out later to making own recipes by combining flavours and working out percentages of flavourings...
