Tell me about it. Used to be I could get kids to knock out stuff I'd happily sell in a store, but nowadays they just dont have the coordination or patience todo good work. They just want to race through to the end no matter how good or bad the result is.

I know what you mean, when I went on site I was hanging doors, nearly had a heart attack when I was told you had to do 8 a day, they were lucky If they got 8 a week, just found a picture of some of the stuff i used to make

theres very little in my house that never got built by me cant beat doing things yourself welsh dresser my kitchen,kids cot, chest of drawers,wardrobes,bedside cabinets,tv stand,fishtank stand,bookshelf,doors,garden sheds and fences hell i even made the oak flooring and skirtings now im looking at this id forgoten how much i had made non as good as your atty stand tho glen

I am just glad the photos a bit blurry, It definitely does not warrant close inspection lol

What mm mdf did you use?

Its just an old bit of cornice I had left over from a fitted bedroom,flavourtank
Already had the step built in,
So ideal for a two tiered stand,
Its 30mm highest point, 15mm lowest
Just covered it with bamboo fablon
Bit of a bodge job really
I'm going to try and find a bit of solid kitchen worktop and then do a proper job lol
