zippyMy tip get yourself a cheap set of digital scales and mix by weight much quicker and simpler than eyeballing syringes plus you can get a big squeezy plastic bottle with a nozzle top to decant your VG into, much easier to use than drawing that gloopy stuff up into a syringe. Dunno much about recipes i pretty much stick to 3 or 4 mixes for myself but i'm all about being lazy and making the job easy. Get Off My Cloud With regard to the scales question I have just checked our kitchen scales and they claim to do ml? Is this what you mean as the grams doesn't only does whole numbers.

Get Off My Cloud With regard to the scales question I have just checked our kitchen scales and they claim to do ml? Is this what you mean as the grams doesn't only does whole numbers. The set i use measure in 0.1gram increments more accurate for doing small amounts for recipe testing like 5ml or 10ml mixes. This is the set i have just a little pocket sized set. www.amazon.co.uk/Digital-Modes-Pocket-Scale-MZ-600/dp/B006XKO3RWWill go up to 600g which equates to 600ml so easily will handle a large mix too. You could use a set that does 0.01gram increments if you want to be really picky but i just round up to the nearest 10th of a gram. If you use ejuice me up calculator it gives the amounts in grams as well as ml. ejuice.breaktru.com/

Hi zippy. to AAEC. It seems to me you like strong sharp flavours, so you won't go wrong with some T-Juice's Jacues Le Mon or Black 'n' Blue or Red Astaire, or....(well, have a look and ask us) from Chef's www.chefsvapour.co.uk/81-t-juice-concentratesNo steep time required. Mix and vape. Definitely worth a try. Most fruit types don't need much steeping either. Good luck with any way you go. The creamy, dessert types, and multi-ingredient mixes take forever

Thanks again all for the welcome.
Have started ordering for the first alchemy session. VG and PG liquids from Amazon (classikool), handful of syringes from eBay, some 10ml needle bottles (for tests) from eBay. Just need to source some larger bottles for the ones I like and do more of. I do have some 30ml bottles from purchased liquids I have still to use up - can these be washed and reused or does the old stuff taint the new? Just need the nic Base but chefs out of stock and the other place I have found it seems excessive on postage - will find somewhere later hopefully and then I just wait. Oh, and some flavour - still not decided. Am I missing anything?
I am seriously considering a lab coat - is that a step too far?

Hi Zippy, welcome aboard. You will get some great advice off some fantastic people here. Soak it all up. I will say though, I am now going to have to sign things differently as you have part of my name
