jess - is something wrong with uploading images? It seems so, Kreed, as I've just tried & got the same. 
Hopefully it's a plug in glitch that will sort itself...aherm....! Tagging Chrissie, as that's her territory though.

I just tried a png and a jpg that have been uploaded before and got invalid file for both, so broken ATM.

I just tried going direct to postimg and got the same error, no doubt they will fix it soon.

I'm fairly certain that the problem is with Postimage & not the plug in. Hopefully, they will sort the issue soon. Test -  Seems to be working OK now. |

Yep I'm now getting the invalid file Sorry everyone, as it's a problem with postimage.org, the host of the plug in, there isn't anything I can do about it |
