lee the chip is not a lot of money about £54 compare that to an SX350J + balance board at £77. Look at how Phil Busardo has been calling it temperature guessing because the SX redefined fahrenheit, this answers that you can add detailed temperature curves for any wire you like, SteamEngine have already got a beta page up for just this. so not only can you now use stainless steel, which has too many different alloys to allow just a handful of temperature curves, but you can even redefine fahrenheit if you want it to match YiHi version. You can store the wire data and other settings like watts, pre-heat etc in 8 memory slots for your favourite builds. You can customise the screen a bit like the original Evic and capture masses of data on the PC if that floats your boat. This is for any level of power. But as Get Off My Cloud said there are the high wattage vapers out there that will benefit from accurate power and probably the best battery safety of any mod. My car is meant to do 140 mph, don't mean I drive it at that speed, I bought it as it is meant to do 60 mpg. I don't care if someone wants to vape at 200 watts and blow massive clouds that's thier prerogative, there are plenty of devices already out there capable of this. This board is not design for most, most that already have mods that this board will now not fit, most that have 18650 battery's and chargers that will not work unless you make a triple 18650 mod. For what the very few if any that vape at 200 watts.

The 18650's are a fair point letsavit and I probably have more than most (40 over 10 A IMRs), I am toying with the idea of making a couple of Lipo ones that will be smaller than a Zero

For SX Mini M class money a DNA200 or wait and see if Evolv do a lower watt version in a couple of months. The Hana One looks nice, only a DNA40, but with both dual and single 18650 capability for a lot less. Also Vapegeek.co.uk have a couple of very nice DNA40s.
ETA and you can find rdnas for under a hundred now.

^^^^^^^^^^^ That
VT40 hcigar, tan mod or esquare from vapegeek. SX mini m class, nice mod, temp not for a beginner. Got mine for £130 with a Samsung, wouldn't pay anymore...see DNAs above... "Latest" in the world of temp control = the DNA200 which will always cause debate ATM.... as you just witnessed...!

OK so just read back and.. Just wondering what to replace my h cigar dna40 evolve with tendvto like shaped mods a bit more was going to replace with the sx but now.... Trouble is I know its a good bit of kit and don't want to trade it off for something inferior just for the sake of change.... IMO the only upgrades are a Decodes 2380 (very expensive tube mod with ultra complex menu system), a DNA40 in a nicer box or a DNA200, I hated the SX YMMV. Clones: I have been vaping on a kingxin flask clone for a few days that is good for the money, but keeps making me think I must put a decent 510 and Evolv board in this. The Snow Wolf 200 looks good value, but has issues, the Evic has issues, the Smok got some of the most negative comments I have ever read.

IMHO you have about as good as temp control gets in your higar DNA40... It can run at temp within +/- 10f and protect you from the ultimate burnt hit, totally dry cotton.....everything now on is just menus and extra toys until the 510 goes and we have temp sensor probes in our tanks, if ever.

Well it's actually £90 to £100 here in the uk or you can order from China for about £60 I believe, so I'm not sure where you got £140 from I haven't seen it that price anywhere.. www.ecigone.co.uk/mod-shop/box-mods/snow-wolf-200w-TC.html?sort=p.price&order=DESC
