Tried Thunderbird (versions 31 and 38) Outlook 2010, and virginmedia webmail. All have the same issue. Virgins webmail accounts are based on gmail so not surprised the issue is the same there. PinkyPuff uses a gmail account via thunderbird 38 and also has the problem. ps... checked the source code of the message and it is definitely sent as plain text not html. Unless google is converting it, it looks like it is a proboards issue. edit....tried pop3 and imap with no change.

Bob, blakey, thatguy, cHooBeyDoo & anyone else with the same problem. Could you please let me know what website/application you use to view your e-mail messages? Windows live for me, that runs through laptop and android tablets and phones.

gmail via outlook (IMAP) on Win7 Ultimate (SP1) Chrissie. No issues and never had one. 5 PM notifications from yesterday. Links look and work just fine. (I hovered to bring the link box up) ETA: An afterthought. It could be a setting in AV software or MalwareBytes - a recent update may have enabled something I don't use any AV software, just good practice.

Just looked at the source code of the last message I received which was good, on 21/06 and if you look at msg #1 here it is totally different, there is none of the pb-email-break stuff: Received-SPF: Pass (proboards.com: domain of noreply@proboards.com designates 174.122.238.251 as permitted sender) receiver=proboards.com; client-ip=174.122.238.251; envelope-from=<noreply@proboards.com>; helo=localhost.localdomain; The following threads you participated in on ALL ABOUT E-CIGARETTES UK have been updated: OWL sqounker groupbuy focalecig: allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/threads/recent/54105---------------------------------------- This was an automated message. Okay, been looking at other mulipart messages that I receive and found this main difference, don't know if that is the cause or not:
MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <-----------This line on all others is where I have marked < Here below Content-Type: multipart/alternative; charset=UTF-8; boundary="__pb-email-break__"
--__pb-email-break__ Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 < Here
--__pb-email-break__ Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8; < Here

Thanks everyone - I'll pass on all the info Apparently PB systems team has quite a bit on their plates at the moment, so it might be a while before the issue is resolved.

Just a quick update on this issue.
Someone else on PB support started another thread about it & an admin's reply is as follows -
"Hi, Norman.
This is a priority issue we're aware of and hope to have resolved soon. Our apologies for the inconvenience in the meantime."

And another update from PB support admin -
"To follow up, this is being regarded as a priority issue and should go out with the next code push."

Any more news on this Chrissie as it is still an ongoing problem for me at least - just tried looking on the proboards support forum but as I am not registered on there the captcha wouldn't let me do a search

How do you stop them via tapatalk folks? That's where I'm getting all the email notifications from?
