has anyone recoiled an occ head vertical with ni200?

I did try with kanthal but the way the cotton needs to be through the holes I couldn't get the wicking right, it's really fiddly

what size wire/wraps did you use for what ohm ? out of interest....i can recoil standard occ head 0.5,still waiting for the occ0.2 ni200 heads on order,but just got a newer subtank with the vertical occ head and wondered about doing that style either kanthel or pref ni200 cheers russ

you do know you can undo the top of the old occ,s it makes chimney coils dead easy

lol ...just tried the new subtank mini with new airflow holes and vertical coil straight off my old style hozitonl occ both at 0.5 ohms....MY GOD what a difference!!! same mod, sane watts, same juice .....hell of a difference

get 2 spanners and undo the top
its threaded like a nut just undo it

you can see the join above the juice holes
